These pants are the “sister” to the 2019 men’s Rush Air Pants. ![]() Our Two CentsįirstGear’s new Contour Air pants for 2019 are a great all-around hot weather style pant that offers protection in a package that will be comfortable in hot weather. We put the pants over the jeans she normally wears. In our photo gallery, we are showing the size 12 on our Fit Check Mannequin Shirley who is a standard size 12 form with a 32” waist. Even at one size smaller they should allow plenty of room to have other clothing on underneath. And given that motorcycle pants are cut pretty high on the waist, my best advice at present would be to make a selection from the chart and then buy one size smaller. The waist on these pants is adjustable with the side Velcro straps so the they’ll adjust down by at least a couple inches. The waist on the size 12 measured out at about 35” and 33” in the inseam which means the pants measure about one or two sizes larger than FirstGear’s chart indicates (see FirstGear’s chart below). We checked both the Contour Air and Sirocco Mesh Overpants and both of which are 2019 introductions, each pant measured out the same.Īdmittedly, I only had a size 12 for evaluation. The Beckley mine operated from 1906 to 1953, reopening as a museum in 1962. Known as “The City of Champions”, Beckley’s coal heritage is brought vividly and smokelessly to life in its Beckley Exhibition Coal Museum. Yet the town he named after his father eventually came to be in these beautiful hills, and the coal found beneath it is what truly brought the village to life. Evidently Beckley’s friends teased him mercilessly about this. The place is absolutely stunning.įounded in 1838 by Alfred Beckley, the town existed mainly on paper until the 1850’s. Don’t be alarmed, there is really no avoiding it. ![]() Beckley is one of those places that will immediately get you singing the words of Take Me Home, Country Roads and thinking the place could be “almost Heaven”. ![]()
